When playing the long game actually works...

Zach had messaged Samantha back on Instagram in October of 2020. This is what sparked the friendship that we all now know and love. We talked everyday until July 4th, 2021, when Zach invited Sam to a 4th of July party at the Gayhart's house.

Never did he believe that she would actually come, but when she did it was all over.

3 dogs, 1 cat and 1 snake later...

And well the rest is history.

Zach proposed on December 10th, 2022 after going to see the Christmas Lights at Fort Saint Clare Park in Eaton, OH.

For those of you who do not know, you can no longer get out and walk in the cabins and get hot chocolate and cookies. This had really upset Zach. I kept telling him that "it's okay, we can always go to the near by gas station and get some!" (This is not the answer Zach was looking for, apparently.) We ended up going to Sara's Pizza and right before we did Zach popped the big question!

Constantly laughing, traveling together, filling each others cups and being the best we can be for each other.

Here is to love, laughter and maybe another dog... or two.
