FAQ

When do I need to RSVP by?

We ask that you RSVP as soon as possible, especially for those of you traveling from afar, but please make sure to have your response in no later than April 10, 2026

Are children allowed? What about plus-ones?

We ask that only the people named on your invitation be present. As much as we love your children (furry or human), unfortunately we cannot accommodate any additional parties except for named invitees.

What will the weather be like?

The short answer is--it's Colorado, for all we know it could snow in June. But more likely it'll be warm during the day, it should be quite comfortable in the later afternoon during the ceremony, and nice and cool during the evening. Regardless of what Mother Nature has planned for us, we have contingency plans for all events!

Is there anything specific I should bring?

If you've never been to the altitude of the Rocky Mountains, it is beautiful but quite dry. Although it will be later afternoon for the ceremony, bringing/wearing a layer of sunscreen is a good idea because sunburns happen very easily (take it from a redhead!). Make sure to bring chapstick and potentially hand lotion as well to ensure you stay camera-ready all day and night. Umbrellas are also a good idea as CO loves to show off with afternoon thunderstorms in the summer--any rain should be finished by the ceremony start time, but being prepared when you're wearing your most beautiful clothes is always a good idea. Lastly, make sure to bring your dancing shoes and smiles!

How do I get to and from the venue?

We have arranged for a shuttle between the Hyatt Place and the venue. There will be 2 trips to the venue, the first leaving around 4:00pm, and the last at 4:30pm. The shuttle will also be available to return to the hotel later in the evening. Alternatives can include rental car, Uber, Lyft, taxi, bicycle, scooter, hot air balloon, or running really fast.

What time will the ceremony start and end?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm, so we ask that you arrive no later than 4:45pm to ensure time to find your seats and get settled. If you arrive any later than this, you'll be adorned in the dunce hat of shame and mocked mercilessly, and we can't have that!

Is parking available at the venue?

Yes!

I have limited mobility, will there be any accommodations?

Absolutely. There will be assistance available with getting in from the gravel parking lot, getting to the ceremony site, and back to the reception area. There are also accessible bathrooms located in the main reception hall. If there is anything else you might need not listed, please let us know and we will do our best!

What will the food options be like?

There will be pass hors d'oeuvres during cocktail hour as well as a sit-down dinner during the reception. We will have a duet-plated meal that will include a chicken and a beef option for you to enjoy. If you have any dietary restrictions such as vegan, vegetarian, or allergies, please let us know in your RSVP! Late night bites will also be provided.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! There will be an open bar during cocktail hour and the reception, as well as champagne service and wine options during dinner.

Will i be able to take pictures during the ceremony?

During the ceremony and reception, we do ask that everyone be present, intentional, and share in the moment with us, staying "unplugged" and off phones as much as possible. Fear not though, we have an INCREDIBLE photographer who will be snapping the best moments all night long!

Where is the reception?

All festivities (ceremony, dinner, reception) will be held on-site, no transfer needed!

Are there any other events or things to do during the weekend?

Great question! We're hoping with a Thursday wedding that you can make a wonderful weekend out of your trip. We will be having a welcome party/rehearsal dinner on Wednesday, June 10, as well as an optional lunch on Friday, June 12 (both found under RSVP tabs). If you prefer to venture out on your own and explore beautiful Colorado, we've listed some of our favorite places and things to do in the surrounding area under the Things To Do tab!
