Our Wedding

Riley and Sam met when they were just 16 and 18 years old! They both grew up in a small town called South Lyon, Michigan. Sam was a junior in high school and Riley was a freshman in college. The moment they met they were inseparable. Riley liked Sams wittiness and Sam liked Rileys go-getter attitude. After 2 years together, they put their relationship to the test and Riley moved to Steamboat Springs, CO to attend Colorado Mountain College. Sam stayed behind and continued attending school at Eastern Michigan University. Riley ended up staying in Colorado for 3 years with countless trips taken back and forth to see each other while also spending their summers together. Riley eventually graduated from CMC and moved back to Michigan. Riley ended up getting a job out of college and moved to Grand Rapids, while Sam stayed behind and finished up grad school. Riley waited for Sam to complete her degree and he ended up buying a fixer upper in Rockford, MI in the mean time... Once Sam finished school and passed her boards she finally packed up her things and moved in with Riley and their dog River. Now, they are busy fixing up their home, traveling in their camper, spending time with friends and family and as well as with each other. Riley proposed to Sam on September 9th 2023 on the beach in Glen Arbor, Michigan after 8 years together! They are ecstatic to spend the rest of their lives together and can't wait to get married!
