John and I met back in 2012 through his cousin, who was my best friend. We started hanging out and living life as young adults, and I always say it was so crazy because at this time we both had gotten out of horrible relationships, so being in another one wasn’t something we wanted at this time. At this time, I had no idea he was going to be my forever. Five months later, we ended up pregnant, having a baby girl; then we moved to Sacramento for 4 years, having a baby boy; then we moved to Vegas, having a baby girl; and then in 2021, we got engaged after being together for 9 years; and now here in 2024, we’re getting married after being together for 12 years, and we’re very excited to start this new chapter in our lives. We have been through all the ups and downs, but we have always managed to get through the rough times and still enjoy the good times together. I can’t believe I will be marrying my best friend, who has been with me through all the craziness I’ve had in my life, and he always knows what to say to make me feel better and always gives me advice. Even though I’m stubborn, he loves me for me, and I can’t wait to see where life is going to take us. I still can't believe we went from strangers to lovers in such a short amount of time, but if I'm right about anything in my life, being with you was the best decision I could have made.
