Ian Wilcox and Samantha Schnittger met briefly at a Locust concert in 2007. In 2010 their circle of friends would collide once again, seeing each other at many parties and concerts for the next few years. In fall 2014 they would plan a trip to Boulder, CO to see Death From Above 1979, they would never be just friends again. After a trip to MN, Ian was able to purify himself in the waters of Lake Minnetonka and they could make their relationship "Facebook official". Through countless Army training, grad school in Saint Louis, and helicopter flight school in Salina, there has been a lot of patience on both parts for this day. Ian proposed to Samantha on Christmas Eve, 2020 in Keystone, CO. Soon after, they would elope to prepare for a PCS to Fort Bragg, NC. They are so excited to finally celebrate with family and friends!
