Our Wedding

Jacob and I met for the first time when I worked my first internship at Betco in 2019. After a couple of summers working together, we developed a strong friendship. I think we both knew we enjoyed spending time with each other too much to just stay friends. We started dating in the fall of 2020 after I returned to Columbus for my senior year at Ohio State. The last five years have been full of amazing experiences as we have fallen in love and learned how to be life partners. We now are ready to take the next steps into marriage and can't wait to share this day with our friends and families!

Our Story

Josh is Jacob's oldest friend. They have been friends since the first grade at Whitehouse Primary. Josh currently works as a Video Specialist at the Robison Group. He lives in Lima, Ohio with his fiance, Nikki Ellis. The pair are getting married in November!

Joshua Linger

David and Jacob met in middle school band. Jacob attests that Davie (as Jacob calls him) is the best french horn player this side of the Mississippi. David is a tax clerk. He and his wife, Jordan, frequently attend game nights with Jacob and Sam. Ask David if he has worn his Fred Flintstone shirt this weekend. It's his staple piece.

David Hines

Tyler is Jacob's good friend. They met through Jacob's other groomsman, Josh Linger. He lives in Waterville and works as an Inventory Control Specialist at Mayco International. Tyler is a TRUE Ohio State fan. He also is super knowledgeable about baseball. Ask him who has won the world series any year in the past fifty. He probably knows the answer.

Tyler Lammers

Ben (or Bahamin as Jacob likes to call him) is Jacob's friend from Anthony Wayne High School. They played trombone together in the band. Ben is a Project Engineer at Altec Inc. in North Carolina. Ben loves to spend his free time working at the stables with horses and hiking with his dog, Guss. Ben has been known to ballroom dance from time to time. See if he will show you some moves on the dance floor.

Benjamin Speck

Nathan is the younger brother of the bride. He and Samantha are both alumni of The Ohio State University. He just recently graduated with a degree in english and a minor in music. Nathan enjoys writing and recording music in his free time. He also enjoys wine so grab him another glass of white from the bar! 

Nathan Sedlmeier

Wyatt is Jacob's younger brother. He is currently doing clinicals to become a certified PT assistant. In his free time he enjoys gaming, biking, and taking care of his aquarium. 
Wyatt is Jacob and Sam's catsitter when they are out of town. Ask Wyatt about how Jacob and Sam got their kitty, Charcoal. 

Wyatt Taylor

Morgan is Samantha's friend and roommate from college. Morgan and Sam met at orientation at Ohio State University and found out they would be living in the same dorm building. They have been friends ever since! Morgan is a Middle School Counselor in Virigina where she lives with her husband, Jake. Morgan loves to read and write in her free time! Sam and Jacob are convinced she will be a bestselling author one day.

Morgan Weinstein

Rebecca is Samantha's childhood friend because she is the best friend of Samantha's bridesmaid and cousin, Christy. As children, Christy and Becca were inseparable. Every time Christy and Sam's grandma would take them on a vacation or trip, Becca would come too. Becca is a Data and Systems Analyst for the National Museum of the Great Lakes. She and her husband, John, sold their home in the summer of 2023 and currently work remotely from their boat as they sail the East Coast and Great Lakes. Ask them about their adventures!

Rebecca Gray

Maria is Samantha's friend from High School. Although they went to different schools, they met through mutual friends and grew really close in college. Maria is an interior designer with Buehrer Group Architecture in Maumee, Ohio where she also lives with her husband, Jack. Maria loves to design, renovate, and bake. She is the best at name that tune, which Jacob and Sam play with her and Jack most Mondays. Ask her to name any song played tonight and she will likely know the name and artist. 

Maria Sanderson

Christina is Samantha's only cousin on her dad’s side of the family. She and Sam were close growing up and went on many trips together. Christy is currently working full-time at Overcashier & Horst Heating and Air Conditioning while working on getting a degree online in Social Work. She lives in Woodville, Ohio with her boyfriend, Logan, their cat and two dogs. Ask her about the whole family's recent trip to Spain and Italy.

Christina David

Jessie is Samantha's oldest friend. They went to elementary and high school together. They were both in theater and choir together, as well as track and cross country. Jessie is a liscensed Physical Therapist and is working in Columbus, Ohio. Jessie has always loved to dance and hopes to open up her own practice for dance therapy and rehab. Maybe if she gets a little drunk, her alter ego, Jessie Owens, will make an appearance.

Jessica Sotak

Grace is Samantha's only female cousin on her mom's side of the family. Grace lives in Leo, Indiana with her husband, Zach, and their son, Frankie. She also owns and operates her own business, Gracey's Goodies. Gracey's Goodies is supplying the baked goods for Sam and Jacob's wedding. If you liked the cake, let her know!

Grace Potosky

Jack is Sam and Jacob's friend and also the husband of bridesmaid, Maria. Jack is one of the most authentic and charming people you will ever meet. Which is exactly why Jacob and Sam asked him to officiate! If you liked Jack's speech, make sure to let him know! This is his first time officiating!

This is the hotel Jacob and I will be staying at for our wedding weekend. It is just down the road from the venue. Unfortunately, Holiday Inn Express isnt offering a block of rooms so reservations are first come, first serve.  Please plan accordingly. There is a Fairfield Inn not far from the venue as an alternative.

Take a stroll on the beach or a walk on one of the trails. This is where Jacob and I went on our first date! 

East Harbor State Park

Go enjoy a beer and some pizza at Twin Oast Brewery. This place is owned by the same family as Gideon Owen Winery. They are hosting Oktoberfest on October 3rd!
