One day, Sami was just scrolling on Hinge, thinking that she would never meet her prince charming. Seconds before she was about to give up...PING! She received a notification. It was Matt, sliding into her DM's with not only a message, but a rose. "What's this?" She asked. "Uh....I don't know...but you seemed like a good contender?" She was amused, and obliged.

Matt set up a first date...and then BAILED on her because he was too nervous (and football was on). Can you believe that? Sami gave him a stern talking to and he quickly recovered with a second date idea...TOP GOLF.

On December 23rd, 2020, Matt picked Sami up in his big truck. He played his favorite song for Sami and she talked through the whole thing. While at top golf, Sami would miss the ball multiple times in a row and Matt would pretend he wasn't looking. After many laughs (and Matt trying to show off) Sami kissed him first! Can you believe it?

After the first date, Sami fell very hard for Matthew and harassed him every date they had until he finally asked her to be his girlfriend on January 20th, 2021. How did he ask? With a rose!

Sami and Matt spent the year traveling around the country, starting on their bucket list to travel to all 50 states together! Tennessee, Florida, Georgia and Colorado are some of the places they have traveled together (and didn't kill each other).

Sami thought they were going on just another one of their trips to Naples, Florida, but Matt had other plans. He proposed to her on the beach at sunset on July 26th, 2022.

They are so excited to live happily ever after!
