It all started in 2015. Christopher decided to advance his education through his beloved Indiana University. Born a Hoosier, there was no hesitation when Chris was offered a position to receive his Master's Degree. Samantha had just finished what felt like her 10th interview for graduate school, and to no surprise was offered another position. Originally from Michigan, Samantha had interviewed across the entire country and was just offered another position in Arizona. To this day, she still does not know what made her choose Indiana University over Arizona, but it was a choice that she forever cheerishes. Samantha and Christopher, both pursuing their dreams of becoming physician assistants, crossed paths in 2015 amidst the bustling corridors of graduate school. Little did they know, their chance encounter would evolve.


As they navigated the rigorous demands of academia together, their bond grew stronger with each passing day. Late-night study sessions turned into heartfelt conversations, and shared aspirations forged an unbreakable connection between them. Graduating with their masters in physician assistant studies was not just a testament to their academic prowess but also a celebration of their unwavering support for each other.


As time progress, Samantha, a once stout Michigan State fan, softened to the idea of cheering for the Hoosiers. With games so close, they frequently traveled to Bloomington for IU vs MSU basketball and football games where she notorious reigned champion. We loved spending these moments with friends and family, and consider them some of our most fond memories. Although he would never admit it, even when MSU won, Chris was happy.


In the beginning of 2023, Samantha and Chris embarked on a new chapter of their lives as they bid farewell to the familiar streets of Indiana and set their sights on the sun-kissed landscapes of Palm Desert, California. Amidst the breathtaking backdrop of palm trees and desert vistas, Chris decided that it was the perfect moment to seal their love forever.


On the enchanting evening of December 22nd, 2023, beneath the twinkling stars on the ski slopes of Big Bear Mountain, Chris dropped to one knee and professed his eternal love to Samantha. With tears of joy glistening in her eyes, surrounded by her family, Samantha said yes without hesitation, knowing that this was the culmination of a love story written throughout their years.


Now, as they prepare to embark on the most magical journey of all – marriage – Samantha and Chris are filled with gratitude for the serendipitous moment that brought them together and the endless adventures that await them in the embrace of their love. With hearts full of love and souls intertwined, they eagerly anticipate the joyous celebration of their union, surrounded by family and friends who have witnessed the beautiful evolution of their love story from the very beginning.
