It all began during Freshman Orientation week at Seattle Pacific University in 2019. Andrew and Sam found themselves seated beside each other during a game night, yet their initial interaction was marked by silence and missed opportunities for connection. The following day, Sam, not recognizing Andrew, reintroduced herself, which led to a rather embarrassing moment. Little did they know, this seemingly awkward start would pave the way for a beautiful friendship to blossom.

Over the course of the next three months, Andrew and Sam's friendship deepened as they shared laughter, adventures, and countless heart-to-heart conversations. Despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic forcing them to return to their respective hometowns of Port Angeles and Gig Harbor, Washington, their bond only grew stronger. They navigated the uncertainties of long-distance with grace, cherishing every moment they were able to spend together, whether on camping trips or impromptu gatherings.

As time passed, Andrew and Sam graduated from college, pursued their careers, and eventually made the decision to move in together. Through every twist and turn, their love remained unwavering, a beacon of hope and stability in times of change. And now, as they stand on the brink of a new chapter, they are thrilled to announce their upcoming wedding on June 21st, 2025.
