The dress code for our wedding is Garden Party Formal! Black tie optional :)
"Garden Party Formal" is a dress code that combines elements of formal attire with a relaxed, outdoor vibe.
Think of it as a blend of elegance and comfort. It's about looking polished and put-together, but in a way that's suitable for an outdoor setting.
As always, in wedding fashion, please avoid any shade of white or off-white!
For women, this could mean a chic maxi dress in a floral print or another light color. Think light, airy fabrics like linen or cotton. Color-wise, think 'summary' bright colors, soft pastel shades, or vibrant floral prints. Please avoid any dresses shorter than midi-length.
For men, A well-tailored suit in a light color is a great choice. Think beige, light grey, or even pastel shades. As always, a traditional black or navy suit is always a good look as well. If a full suit feels too formal, opt for a blazer and chinos combo. Ties optional. Avoid khakis or jeans.
So, while it's a step down from black tie, it's definitely a step up from casual. It's the perfect balance for an outdoor, rustic garden-themed wedding.
We want all of our guests to be comfortable this weekend. If you need help with attire, below is a sample gallery purely to help with inspiration to help our vision come to life!
