They have been dating almost six years. It all started at Kent State. Samantha and Colin met on Tuesday August 29, 2017 in Spanish class. The teacher randomly paired them up and they began talking. They had common acquaintances that helped start the connection. By the end of class Samantha asked Colin for his phone number. The next day they went on their first date. Colin brought her favorite Starbucks coffee. They talked at a table on campus outside enjoying the nice weather before class. The following day they went to his house and Samantha got to meet someone really important in Colin's life. The important person is Grandma, also known as Big Momma. Colin got invited to Samantha's house for a cookout. Little did he know that Samantha's parents had invited the whole family over. Colin got to meet everyone all at once! The next week, Samantha and Colin went on their first dinner date at Rosewood Grill in Hudson. Samantha and Colin started dating September 8, 2017. They shared their first kiss at a stop light in Kent. The song Leave the Night on by Sam Hunt, Samantha's favorite song, was playing at the time.

They have had many pets. It all started off with hermit crabs. Then came Shadow. They had some gerbils, and lastly their two cats Smoke and Toast.

Samantha and Colin have enjoyed many holidays, birthdays, weddings, vacations and many other special events together.

Samantha and Colin were on a family vacation at Disney World in Epcot on June 21,2022. While in England they got engaged.

They can't wait to celebrate their special day with everyone in July!
