Samantha and Thomas' story began unexpectedly at Canadian Tire, where they both worked part-time. What started as quick conversations during shifts and joking around in the aisles slowly turned into a friendship. They enjoyed each other’s company, but as life often does, it led them down different paths, and they eventually lost touch for a while.

In 2018, they reconnected with a spark that felt different. Friendship turned into romance, and they began going on dates and exploring what could be. Although they went their separate ways again, it wasn’t the end of their story.

Navigating uncertainty together taught them how to support one another, communicate and truly appreciate the little things: cozy nights, hikes and dreaming about future adventures. From the very beginning, they bonded over their shared love of country music, food and passion for travel. Whether it’s singing along at concerts or planning their next adventure, they've always felt most themselves while exploring the world side by side.

In 2021, they took the next big step and moved in together, starting a new chapter under the same roof. As they built a home filled with love, laughter, and shared routines, their partnership deepened and their dreams for the future became plans they were excited to chase together.

On December 2, 2024, Thomas asked Samantha the easiest question she’s ever answered. After years of friendship, timing that tested them and a love that found its way back stronger than ever, he got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever by his side. It was a moment filled with happy tears, shaking hands, and the kind of joy that feels overwhelming in the very best way. All the memories they had built led to that unforgettable “yes.” It wasn’t just a proposal; it was the start of their next chapter and a promise to continue choosing each other every single day.
