Once upon a tinder match,

Sam found Michael's profile early April of 2018 and knew that he was special. So she stalked and adapted her likes by adding that she liked Punk Rock Music (ok Swift-y) to intrigue Michael, she then took a leap of faith and swapped right. To Sam's luck that was enough for Michael.

Their first date was at El Gallo in Worth and after 2-3 hours of talking and eating (and Michael forgetting to pick up Matt (his cousin)), they ended their most romantic night with Michael having to fill up Bettsy's flat tire with a pump from his car. Sam knew after that he was the one.

Sam and Michael made it official after Sam's trip to Ireland. After asking Michael which way Sam should face her Claddagh ring (an Irish ring for all the non-Irish people, showing if one is available or taken) they proclaimed their relationship status as dating on June 29th of 2018.

During April of 2020 Sam and Michael closed on their condo in Tinley Park. Shortly there after, they announced their fur baby Mr. Potater Tot in October of 2020.

After four years of dating, Michael met with secret advisors, asked Sam's parent's permission for her hand in marriage, and then started planning proposing to Sam. He had to fake losing his shoe in Lake Michigan, because Sam grabbed his phone from the car (which leaving his phone in the car was his excuse to go back and grab the ring, but he had to change it to getting an extra pair of shoes) he finally proposed. They were engaged on September 24th of 2022.

Which leads us to now... October 5th of 2024.
