Our Wedding

Austin and Sami met when they had both moved to Greenville, SC from their home states Maryland and California. Our first date was at Wild Wing (which if you know Austin, you know he was showing me exactly what I was getting into). Our relationship started off slow as we became the best of friends, and would spend every weekend watching Clemson Football ( I coincidentally became a huge football fan lol GO TIGERS!) and sharing pitchers of Blue Moon together. We soon became inseparable, spending every day together. After 5 long months, Austin FINALLY asked me to be his girlfriend at Carolina Ale House (again, very on-brand for him) on November 23, 2019. As we all know a few month later was COVID. We decided to quarantine at Austin's dads lake house for a whole month while we waited out the shut downs and had the best times. We have the most amazing memories at the Lake House. From quarantining to countless holiday weekends, going fishing on the boat, and of course, our ENGAGEMENT. On July 1, 2022 Austin asked me to marry him. It was the most special day surrounded with all of our friends and family at one of the most special places to us. And then right after our engagement at the end of July, we moved into our first home together!

Vanoy and Austin met through Melo. They became very close once they started hanging out more. A lot of memories have been shared between Austin, Vanoy, Brandi and Sami. Another great friend met in SC.

Vanoy Sullivan

Carson and Austin are cousins and grew up together since they were little. They share a lot of great memories together. Carson has always been like a big brother to Austin.

Where you will find him at the wedding: On the dance floor with a Miller Lite in hand.

Carson Stewart

Sabrina and I met back in middle school and have been best friends ever since. Spending countless hours on the phone chatting about reality tv, boys, friends and so much more. She truly is my greatest friend and we always joke that we are the same exact person and got separated at birth. Don't know where I would be without her. 

Where you can find her: Crying in the bathroom somewhere about how much she loves me (after a few drinks of course)

Sabrina Walter

Kyle and Austin met freshman year in college and lived in the same dorm building. They Lived together the rest of college and are best friends to this day (not sure why). #GoGulls

Kyle Gorham

Coli and I have been best friends since we were 3 years old when her and her family moved in 2 doors down. She is the definition of friends who are family. We have grown up together and have been through so much together within our 25 years of friendship. She moved to Greenville with me and has been a huge part in mine and Austin's love story.

Nicole Bearse

Austin and Corey were random roommates freshman year of college. They became the best of friends and have figured out throughout the years that they are basically the same exact person. They lived together the rest of college and have been best friends ever since. #GoGulls

Corey Brown

Aubree and I have known each other since before we can remember. We grew up on the same street together and have been best friends ever since. We were the little girls wearing matching outfits to everything and spent our whole entire childhood with each other everyday. She has always been like a sister to me and truly is the life of the party.

Shamus and Austin met in college because Shamus's wife (Sav) wanted him to make new friends. Shamus ended up joining the same fraternity and they grew very close after that. They spent a lot of time together after school. #GoGulls

Shamus Riley

Ginger is Austin's sister. I have always wanted a sister growing up and I must say that I am so incredibly blessed to now have a sister like Ginger. She is the greatest example of a mother and wife and I truly look up to her. We have grown close and I can't wait for us to make so many memories. 

Where you can find her at the wedding: Chasing her son Isaiah around and staying far away from the dance floor.

Ginger Tchimou

Joe is Austin's brother-in-law. Joe has been with Ginger since 2010 and he is an amazing husband to her and a great father to Zay and Hope. Joe has always been a big bro to Austin and helped him become the person he is today. 

Where you will find him at the wedding: Handing out drinks to everyone.

Ashley and I have known each other since Kindergarten. We were acquaintances all throughout school and then one day I got a DM on Instagram telling me she was moving to Greenville. We have been best friends ever since. Austin and I have become extremely close to her and her husband Bobby and I can't imagine not having them in our lives.

Ashley Semmler

Bobby and Austin met through his wife Ashley and Sami who grew up in Cali together. Bobby and Austin have a lot in common (one of which is their dislike for Cali) and became friends very quickly. 

Where you will find him at the wedding: Checking out the building and all it's welding.

Bobby Semmler

Brandi and I met shortly after I moved to Greenville. We met her through her husband Vanoy and the four of us became best friends. We have so many countless memories hanging out downtown, late nights listening to music in our old apartment and hanging out at the lake house. Brandi is a great friend and I can't wait for all the memories we are going to have. 

Where you can find her at the wedding: With Vanoy saying "Oh my gosh Vanoy stop that"

Brandi James

Isaac and Austin met through the fraternity they both were in. They grew up in the same area but never met til school. They have had a lot of great times together. #GoGulls

Where you will find him at the wedding: Hiding from any country music.

Isaac Guzman

Amanda is Austin's cousin. I met her shortly after Austin and I started dating and we instantly connected. She welcomed me so generously into the family and we have so much fun everytime we see each other. She is so much fun and one of the nicest people you will meet.

Where you will find her at the wedding: Talking to everyone

Amanda Athey

Austin and Melo met on a kickball team when Austin moved down to Greenville, SC. They became friends pretty quickly and Melo was one of Austin's first friends when moving to SC. 

Where you will find him at the wedding: Sleeping on the couch in the grooms room.

Melo Gallegos

Katie is Austin's cousin. I met her when Austin and I first started dating and she has always made me laugh. I have always loved her sass and we have always had so much fun together.

Katie Athey

Isaiah is our nephew. He is the cutest little boy who has endless energy. He will talk your ear off about Transformers and Monster Trucks. He is such a great kid and we love watching him grow up. 

Where you will find him at the wedding: Running around everywhere and potentially dancing if we play Monster Mash

Isaiah Tchimou

Hope is our niece. She is the newest member of the family and we absolutely adore her. Can't wait to watch her grow up and see what her little personality is going to be.

Jordan is our niece. (Coli's daughter) She is the cutest little girl and she always has the biggest smile on her face when we Facetime. She is a handful and I am lucky to get to hold her without her crying.

Where you will find her at the wedding: You probably won't because she will probably be taken home after the ceremony because she will be crying

Anthony and Austin are cousins. They have grown up with each other since they were little. Anthony has become such a big part of our lives and we love getting to spend time with him for all of the holidays and we adore him.

We will be offering a shuttle to and from the wedding and reception venue. There will be limited spots on the shuttle so it will be a first come first serve basis. There are also plenty of ubers in the area that you can take as well.
