Our Wedding

It all started in 2017 when a group of friends invited us down to the river for a bonfire. Sam was sitting on the tailgate of a truck when Mike saw Sam and thought to himself dang that girl is beautiful but Sam had to take a second look at Mike. Mike then sat next to Sam on the tailgate and started a conversation by saying is this seat available. Later that night they went there separate ways until January 2018. In January of 2018 Mike reached out to Sam and asked her if she wanted to go out on a date. Sam replied yes and told Mike to pick her up at her parents house. After that date Mike and Sam started dating. As the days went on they got to know each other a little more and found out what they had in common which was going to the movie theaters. On August 2021 Mike and Sam moved into their new house in New Ulm, MN because Mike needed a Cinderella and Sam fit the bill even though mom and dad were losing their own Cinderella. Come June 2023 Mike and Sam adopted a puppy from Sam’s sister and they named him Marley. Now the reason for this puppy was so that Mike would grow up and stop being a 7th grader for life. As the time went on Sam and Marley wore on Mike and they became a happy family and Mike grew out of his 7th grader life. Fast forward to Christmas Eve in 2023 Mike had the courage to ask Sam to Marry him. Now the way he did this was very cute. Mike had wrapped a gift for his nephew for Christmas that had a bear and a paper that asked Sam will you marry me. When Mike’s nephew opened the gift he threw the bear and then almost ripped the paper but when Amanda helped Cameron hold up the paper to show Sam Mike got down on one knee and asked Sam to Marry him. Sam’s reply was YES and a lot of crying!!!! But in reality she was thinking Ohh shit what did I just say. Cheers to many more years and a lot more memories!!! #HoffmanForever
