Our Story

Sami and Michael initially met in September of 2013 at a party hosted by mutual friends, but it wasn't until August of 2021 that they began dating after celebrating Sparlin's 30th birthday. Michael invited Sami to dinner and drinks at the Consulate in Midtown, Atlanta, and the couple have been dating ever since.	The couple initially moved in together in December of 2022 before getting engaged on the roof Mercedes Benz Stadium. They celebrated their engagement with champagne in the Falcon's locker room with friends and family followed by dinner at their favorite restaurant, Cypress Street Pint &amp; Plate. Since their engagement, the couple have purchased a house in the Kirkwood neighborhood of Atlanta.

With Savannah being the Sami's hometown, it was an easy decision to hold their wedding in the picturesque historic town. They cannot wait to celebrate with all of their friends and family!

A breathtaking avenue sheltered by live oaks and Spanish moss leads to the tabby ruins of Wormsloe, the colonial estate of Noble Jones (1702–1775). Jones was a carpenter who arrived in Georgia in 1733 with James Oglethorpe and the first group of settlers from England. Wormsloe's tabby ruin is the oldest standing structure in Savannah.
