Alex and I have known each other (unofficially) since elementary school, but its really middle school where we bonded over a love of music, anime, and general nerdiness. Since then we frequently geek out over anything Wicked-related, young adult novels we read as kids, and Alex's exciting life down in LA in the world of voice-acting.

Josh and I grew up just a few miles from each other, and we've been good friends from 4th grade onwards (at least that's as far as I remember). After college, our paths took us both to the Bay Area for a while, where we've kept each other active, he convincing me to run a marathon, and I managing to drag him to the top of Mt Diablo on a trail run.

Katie and I met serendipitously in college, through her then-boyfriend (now husband) Matt. We were both looking for roomates for the next year at UVa and Matt wonderfully thought to have us meet. It was the best, most amazing year at university and we have been friends ever since.

Since being forced to endure Prashanth's heavy metal music from the freshman dorm room next door, I've always been entertained by our shared sarcastic sense of humor. Whenever the world takes a turn for the absurd, I can always rely on him to find a meme or The Onion article to capture it...what else are friends for?

I've known Adam since freshman year in the dorms, and between the dorm nerf gun wars, late nights playing DDR in "The House", and Halo in "The House 2.0", I've really come to appreciate Adam's ability to be chill about just about everything. Thanks for being a good friend!

Carissa has been part of my life for so long that she's family. Carissa and my brother Cai have been the West Coast bastion of my family. We spend Christmases, Easters, birthdays, and good times together with all the sorts of traditions one expects from families. I am glad she's been with us for all this time and look forward to so many more years of good times.
