Our story begins back in 2011 when we met for the first time. Freshman in high school when Samantha found friends in John's friend group. Having a group lunch nearly everyday, laughing and swapping stories. Soon John and Samantha became fast friends.

Flash forwards to graduation, their friendship stronger than ever. Samantha moved to Keene, NH and one summer night John asked to hang out, so he drove from Plainfield to Keene to see a friend. They took a moonlight midnight walk talking about everything under the sun. Those walks happened many times that summer, till Samantha moved further away to start college in Plymouth that fall. But the hang outs and walks didn't stop. John drove up to see her many weekends that turned into late nights and early mornings.

Eventually the hangs outs became more and more spread out, until they stopped all together but the messages never did. Through college and both starting jobs, their friendship always stayed comfortable and reliable.

Then, the world seemed to stop when Covid happened in 2020. With jobs closing and the world thrown into a panic, they found comfort in each other. That summer they agreed to go on a hike, just John, Samantha, and John's dog Brady... Samantha didn't realize Brady was a dog and forced a friend to come on the hike with her thinking Brady was John's friend.

The night after the hike John asked Samantha to go apple picking, just the two of them, no dogs or friends allowed. She agreed happily and soon found herself driving an hour one way three times a week just to see him more.

Eventually moving in together before the start of a new year of 2021.

At the beginning of that year they found a new apartment to move into, agreeing they would stay there until they bought a house. Flash forward through many dog walks, hikes, late night living room dances , endless laughs and future planning and countless "I love yous" they decided it was time to look at houses.

With the stress of house hunting and everyday life. Samantha asked John to take a winter hike with Brady by their apartment. With the winter sun starting to set, they stopped to see a view of a mountain when John got down on one knee and asked Samantha to marry him. Surprise Surprise, she said yes.

A short two months later they found their house they wanted to start their new life in and moved in April of 2024, just John, Samantha and Brady.

We want to thank everyone who has been a part of our love story. We are excited to start our married life with our friends and family with the beautiful view of the Mountains. We hope to see you there.
