The bride traditionally wears red and gold, whilst the groom wears white / beige and gold (so we recommend that guests avoid these colours)
Ladies: If you would like to dress in traditional Indian attire, there are many different options from saris (long piece of cloth draped over a blouse and skirt) to anarkalis (long, elegant dresses with a dupatta or long scarf) to lehngas (blouse with a long skirt) to kameez and dhoti (tunic with long flowing pants). Otherwise, please come in your most colourful dresses and jewellery - nothing is too much when it comes to an Indian wedding!
Gents: If you would like to try and dress traditionally, you can choose to go simple with a suit (tunic with pants), a bit more stylish with a kurta (tunic and pants with a dupatta / long scarf) or come in a slick looking sherwani (thick long sleeved outer coat with pants). Otherwise, please bring out your brightest coloured smart-casual attire.
