We were introduced to each other after Sami's grandma and aunts met Dawson and knew he was a perfect match for Sami. We met in the summer of 2019 right before we both started college, but we knew this was too good to not try long distance.

We made trips to visit one another at each of our schools at any chance we could. The weekends were short, but we made the most of them!

Summers were what we looked forward to because Dawson moved home and the long distance would be put on hold for a few months.

The years kept rolling, and the school visits would happen about every 4-5 weeks.

Dawson graduated from CMU, and this was Sami's favorite part... Dawson moved back to the other side of the mountains back home! We decided to move in together after.

Shortly after we celebrated our 5 year anniversary, Dawson popped the question under the firework show on Grand Lake O Cherokees in Grove Oklahoma.
