We first met auditioning for Radium Girls together our freshman year of college at West Liberty. We both got roles, but did not talk very much at this time.

This is the 2nd production we did together Freshman year. He was a lead character and I was prop master. We became closer friends during this production and I may have even started to get a slight crush then (but we don't talk about that lol).

This picture is from Passion 2022, which we both attended, but were not close friends. We both attended The Way (our young adult group) regularly from this point forward, but again did not interact directly all that much. So there is a decent time jump here to us starting to talk more.

One of the many hang outs with our friends that were not official "double dates". We got to know each other better first as friends in small groups. This night in particular impacted the both of us. We have both said its one of the most memorable nights before we started officially dating.

First date! After many not technical double dates with our friends he asked me out on an official date! The plan was to go to Oglebay, but the weather was not on our side. So he came to my apartment and brought coffee (he knew my order) and lava cakes. We played the get to know you game called "We're Not Really Strangers" and talked the whole time. Then we went to The Way.

We went home to visit my family and took a day to go to Harpers Ferry. We walked the trail we have walked before and went down into a little alcove where he proposed! We then went back to my house that was filled with our family and friends. It was an amazing day.
