They were friends first - well actually, Sammi was friends with ALL of his friends before her & Matt truly really ever met or spoke. This was 2016 when Free Parking and Sammi won "Most Likely to Top the Billboard Charts" in High School for their shared love of music.

The first gig Sammi ever went to of Matt's band, Free Parking.

Their first picture together, taken in the boys dorm room at Missouri State University. After one semester in Chicago, Sammi decided to transfer to MSU where Matt & all of their shared friends were going to school. Matt & Sammi's friendship grew stronger over their shared love of music - as they're seen here, playing guitar with each other (they were playing Who You Love by John Mayer - the bride has an excellent memory).

Many Free Parking gigs (with Sammi and bridesmaid, Tara always in the front & center dancing and taking photos) and many memories made throughout their four years of college where their friendship grew stronger.

Their first vacation to Nashville, TN to see one of their favorite bands, The 1975.

Sammi & Matt officially take the jump from friends to lovers (the best trope to exist).

Their first family vacation to Orange Beach, AL.

Move-in day! Matt & Sammi moved into their first ever place together.

One of their many, many concerts together | ATL to see Valley.

ENGAGED! After 8 years of friendship, who knew those two high schoolers posing for a yearbook photo together would one day be engaged?
