Hey there!

We’re Sammy and Jessica, and our love story began in the most modern way—on Hinge. We were both pretty over the endless parade of “meh” dates, so we thought this one would probably be our last for a while. But when we met, we felt something click right away. Our first date was at a Nashville Sounds game, and Sammy decided to keep the conversation interesting by asking questions like, “Do you think this guy at bat likes peanut butter?” and “Do you think he’s more of a cat person or a dog person?” (Because, obviously, that's what you talk about at a baseball game). And just like that, we were off to the races.

Although we thought we were just checking off another "meh" date, we immediately felt a spark. Jessica says he'll never kiss her the same way he did on our first date (challenge accepted, I guess?), and we’ve been going strong ever since.

We’ve shared a lot of adventures, from our growing love for golf (Jessica claims she only plays because she loves spending time with Sammy, but we’re not buying it) to cozy nights on the couch watching Young Sheldon and The Bachelor (we have some very strong opinions about those roses).

We also love taking trips together, whether it’s visiting Jessica’s brother in California (and of course, trying our luck on The Price is Right) or heading to Raleigh to spend time with Sammy’s family. Every trip is a chance to make new memories and explore the world together.

Christmas has always been a special time for Jessica, and when it came time to propose, Sammy knew he had to do it at the Opry Hotel, under the big tree she used to spin under as a child. It was the perfect place, and he made sure to kiss her like it was our first date (because apparently, that’s important!).

We can’t wait to start this next chapter together, and we’re so excited to celebrate with all our friends and family on our big day!
