We met in 2020 and of all places we met on Bumble (which is a dating app) in the middle of COVID. I came on strong and said I think I found the man of my dreams...!




We talked for a couple weeks and I was quite hesitant to meet Jordan, because what girl wouldnt be. My brother, JJ, being the person he is, wouldnt let me go on my first date by myself. So my brother and now SIL were spying on Jordan and I from the bar at Monks in Sun Prairie. We were talking like we had known each other for a long time and then my brother came over and then it turned into...a Jordan and JJ date, hunting, fishing, and loving every day. Lets just say my brother fell in love with Jordan in that moment.




On October 18th, 2020 we were making my infamous chicken bacon ranch pasta but didnt have breadsticks. Jordan was adamant we have breadsticks and I kept saying no, no, it is fine, we dont need them. Well Jordan wouldnt listen and went to Kwik Trip. He ended up coming back with breadsticks and... flowers just to ask me to be his girlfriend, which is really the ONLY reason he wanted to go... If you know Jordan, you know he is not a good planner and he said something very very cheesy.




Fast forward to May 28th, 2021. Jordan, JJ, Kelly, and I went to Rockford to a Japanese flower garden. We got brunch and after everyone but me wanted to go walk through the garden... Of course they talked me into it. If you know me, I always lead the way wherever we go (unless it is a haunted house/forest). Jordan wanted to go see the waterfall. I was fixing my hair for the picture and turned around and see Jordan wanting to have a conversation. I was quite confused but it was that moment, I knew what was coming. Jordan forgot everything he wanted to say to me but managed to get down on one knee! Of course I said YES! We both cried but couldnt imagine our lives with anyone else!




We are extremely excited to spend our lives together. We cannot wait to be surrounded by our closest family and friends on our special day! We love and appreciate everyone who has been there along the way!
