Our Wedding

After being forced to get a job in college by her sister, Mena, Sammy was hired at Pure Raw Juice. There, she met Mason, a Junior at Towson University studying film. After a few weeks of working together, Mason asked Sammy to go out to get some ramen, but she wasn't ready for anything serious. From there, they grew to become good friends, going for drives, hanging out with their roommates and picking up Taco Bell. After Thanksgiving that year in 2017, Sammy was ready to pull Mason out of the friend-zone and ask him on a date, so they finally went to get ramen. From there, they were nearly inseparable, ultimately heading into a 'U-Haul relationship' when Mason officially asked Sammy to be his girlfriend on January 5th, 2018. Since then, they’ve gone through college, promotions, losses, trips, moves to new states, and adventures until they landed at their engagement in the fall of 2023.

Overlooking the Hudson River in Tarrytown, New York, is Lyndhurst, one of America’s finest Gothic Revival mansions. Designed in 1838 by Alexander Jackson Davis, its architectural brilliance is complemented by the park-like landscape of the estate and a comprehensive collection of original decorative arts. Its noteworthy occupants included: former New York City mayor William Paulding, merchant George Merritt, and railroad tycoon Jay Gould. Lyndhurst is a site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Untermyer Gardens is a 46 acre former estate that is now a public garden. Open seven days a week it includes multiple garden areas including a Walled Garden, a grand Vista, a Ruin Garden, the Temple of Love, a Rhododendron Walk and a Rock and Stream Garden.

Looking for something to do Thursday or Friday night? Prepare to be amazed during this annual celebration of all things pumpkin. Ringing in 20 years of fun, this popular Halloween extravaganza takes over the grounds of Croton-on-Hudson’s Van Cortlandt Manor each year with roughly 7,000 hand-carved, illuminated jack-o’-lanterns in a dizzying array of forms — from a pumpkin carousel and bridge to an immersive river display — all enlivened by synchronized lighting and a ghostly original soundtrack.

Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Sleepy Hollow, New York, is the final resting place of numerous famous figures, including Washington Irving, whose 1820 short story "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" is set in the adjacent burying ground at the Old Dutch Church of Sleepy Hollow

There will be shuttles provided to and from the Marriott in Tarrytown where the room block is located. Please see schedule below. There will be two buses provided for maximum efficiency!

Because the wedding is located at a private residence, we ask that you please avoid driving yourself and utilize the shuttles or Uber/Lyft. You are also welcome to park at The Westchester Marriott and ride the shuttle with those staying at the hotel. If you MUST drive yourself, please give one of us a heads up so we can coordinate parking with you.
