We met when Samone started working part-time at FedEx. We barely spoke to each other for the first several months. One day I was filling out paperwork and she knocked on the sliding window. I looked up at her, she had this HUGE smile on her face and she flipped me the bird. From that day on we talked every single day. I would stay late and sit with her while she worked. Those who know me, know I wasted no time leaving work after my shift was over. She was and is just an easy person to be around.

The proposal was simple; just what I wanted. Cole and I talked about many things as we got to know each other. One of those things was a proposal. I didn't want anything lavish, I didn't want it documented, no pictures, nothing that would take away from the moment.

Cole rented a cabin in Deer, AR for the weekend. I should have known something was up when he said we could go hiking. The man loathes hiking, LOL. After our little 3 miles hike we settled back at the cabin. Cole cooked us steak-- because your girl LOVES her steak, and we relaxed.

As the night settled we decided to sit on the porch and watch the sunset. We were talking about random things, like why I insisted on not listening to him. The simple answer was, where is the fun in that?

I began to read on my Kindle and noticed he kept staring at me, like a weirdo. Before I could ask him what his problem was, he proposed. I did not ruin the moment, points for me!
