When COVID hit Kaitlyn had to move out of her and quit her internship early to move back home, but they knew they would be back. On May 2, 2020 we moved into our first apartment together. The next day we went to Clarion Paws and found our Murray! This crazy kitten stole our hearts instantly but in typical Murr fashion he played hard to get at first 😂. About six months later, just around the time we were talking about getting another cat; Sunny started to come around Sam’s Aunt Cheryl’s house. After a couple of months of transition she came to live with us! Sunny and Murray took a couple weeks to warm up to each other and now they’re bond is heartwarmingly unbreakable.

Our first apartment shared so many wonderful memories, from all our fun road trips to making new friends in the area, we truly loved the little community around Clarion. But when Kaitlyn lost her job due to COVID in November they both decided to move a little closer to home.

For about a half a year they lived in a cute apartment in Butler. It was the perfect apartment it had affordable rent, nice little yard, good space, etc. except it was in the city of Butler and we had slum lords and terrible upstairs neighbors. They truly learned so much about not just themselves but their relationship during this time because of all the things, good and bad, they went through together.

Now they are back in Pittsburgh, enjoying being close to family and friends again. Although they are always looking towards the future and have hopes to live in an RV and overseas some day! Kaitlyn and Sam love to travel and and getting to see amazing and beautiful places is something they both cherish and love.
