Who made the first move? How?

He made the first move after the camp by texting me, but it was just a simple "Hi." There wasn’t much conversation after that, and we didn’t talk for two months. Later, we reconnected when I was organizing a 6:30 am morning prayer. That’s when our conversations really began to take off, and we started getting to know each other more deeply.

What was your most memorable date?

We have a few memorable dates! First, there was our hike with my family at Gua Angin (Fairy Cave) in Bau, Kuching, Sarawak. It was a fun and adventurous day, made even more special by the stunning natural beauty of the caves. Another unforgettable moment was our first official night date. He took me to a cozy Spanish restaurant, where we both wore white, and we talked for hours. That night, we realized we were on the same path and decided to take our relationship seriously. But the most special memory has to be when we made our own engagement rings at Zo.Craft. It was an incredibly meaningful experience to create something by hand that symbolized our future together.

What's your favorite activity together?

We absolutely love playing Mobile Game together, especially Call of Duty (COD). It’s always fun teaming up and competing, with a little bit of playful competition. Beyond gaming, we both share a passion for trying different foods, whether it's cooking together or exploring new restaurants. Food and games have definitely been some of our favorite bonding activities!

What's the best meal you have eaten together?

The best meal we’ve shared was when he surprised me with lamb (kambing), one of my absolute favorite dishes. I loved every bite of it! He would ask to share some with him, but I’d laugh and say, "Nope, that’s all mine!" It’s a fun memory we still joke about.

One of the things that has connected us deeply is our shared faith in Jesus. Our belief in Christ has been a solid foundation in our relationship, and we’re grateful for the spiritual journey we’re on together.
