Our Wedding

It's a God story, nothing me or sam ever would of ever expected for our lives. It came out of no where, Gods timing is always perfect.January of 2023 I moved back to Kilgoris, Kenya to continue in ministry. I started leadership academy, full of faith, just me and God. Well fast forward to February 6th, This very sweet guy comes to visit Kilgoris again after being gone for a year back in Ethiopia. It was sam he had done bible school back in 2022. He was simply stopping by to see his house church and those he had missed, before returning back to Ethiopia. I heard so much about this guy. The next day we have Tuesday church prayer and five minutes before it starts I meet sam. I thought to myself he would be a really good friend. He then tells me he prayed and decided to stay for leadership academy. Wow! Im going to have a good friend here with me. After prayer I go to start making dinner and I think to myself, I just need to talk to him. I felt drawn to him. Like I need to talk to my best friend, type of draw. The next few weeks would change my life. Me and sam did become best friends. Making every meal together, helping each other with ministry. Talking ever chance we got. Oh goodness God, I think I'm starting to like this man, oh no I'm catching feelings. The scariest thing for me to admit for myself. Sam is one of the sweetest men I had met. And little did I know he had the same feelings. One night after making dinner together, he held me heart in his hands and told me he liked me. Two weeks after meeting we started to date. We met doing what we both loved to do. We were doing missions. God in the least likely moment brought me the most amazing man. After dating almost six months, sam got on one knee and asked me to marry him. Tears, so many tears, The man I prayed for, for so many years, asked me (Kaitlyn) to start in a holy covenant together, Me and sam are getting married. I love how purely we fell in love. I always told God a man has to go to you to get to me. Sam was and is madly in love with God. The number one thing in his life is to glorify God with his whole being, wow, that's what I want as well. We are getting married. Since we stated dating we've been full time missionaries serving in Kilgoris, Kenya, the same place we met. The same place we are getting married. We would love for you to join us in the celebration, Wether in is doing us in person from eh big day, giving financially, or praying for us and what God is calling us into. We love you our family and friends. We can't wait to give this marriage for the kingdom of God for His purposes. We get to do this together as one team now. Our callings are for the kingdom of God. Wow, Thanks God ﻿
