What will the weather be like? Is there a dress code?
It's Texas in June, so prepare for warm! The reception is taking place primarily outdoors. There will be tents, large fans, hand held fans, and a small air conditioned space. The dress code is Summer Casual or Country Club Casual. Not too dressy, not to heavy. We want you to be comfortable in the summer heat!
What will the weather be like?
The average high in June is 95 degrees and the average low is 75. Most of the reception activities will be taking place inside the air conditioned barn, but prepare for outdoor activities!
Can I bring a date?
Our reception is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. There will not be seating for additional people or invitees who do not RSVP. Thank you for understanding!
Will there be adult beverages?
Yes! There will be champagne provided for the toast and a small selection of beverages available. Due to the amount of guests we expect, we highly encourage you to BYOB! ;)
Where is the wedding ceremony?
The bride and groom are having an intimate destination wedding ceremony with immediate family at an earlier date prior to the reception. We can't wait to celebrate with you at home in Texas!
Can I take pictures?
There will be plenty of opportunities for photo ops! There will also be stations set up for pictures with friends and family. We kindly ask that you refrain from using your cell phone for pictures during the Bride and Groom's first dance, Father and Bride Dance, Mother and Groom dance, and the Bride and Groom's grand exit. We would love for the background of these photos to be cell phone free!
Where should guests park?
The reception is taking place at a dear friend's house. There will be a designated spot for parking that will be clearly marked. We will update the details at a later date. We kindly ask that you refrain from parking in the front yard!
Where do you recommend I stay?
For our friends and family who are traveling from outside of the state, we recommend that you stay at a hotel or air bnb nearby. Please visit the "Travel" tab for more information!
Can I bring my kids?
Children are allowed at the reception in Texas, but please let the bride and groom know if you will be bringing your children and how many will attend to ensure proper planning.
Where are you registered?
In lieu of gifts, please consider donating to our honeymoon fund. We have enough stuff! Please see the Registry tab if you wish to donate through this website. You can also donate through venmo, apple pay, or cash. The groom's venmo is @Samuel-Farrell-6. However, please do not feel pressure to do so. A simple card is well appreciated as well.
