Unfortunately, due to a large hockey tournament in town the same weekend as our wedding, we’ve had a lot of difficulty in trying to find accommodations. We were able get a group rate at two places, but they’re both a distance from our venue.

Travelodge in Bracebridge is about 30 minutes away. This is probably the most budget friendly option, although we wouldn’t class them as 5 star by any means.
They have a variety of rooms available for different pricing, so please contact them for more information on the exact rooms. They have a ‘breakfast in a bag’ available. Mention Barry-McKinley wedding for the discount.

Muskoka Bay Resort is 45 minutes from Huntsville. This is a beautiful option if you’re looking to make a family vacation out of the trip. Definitely a little more pricey, but they have different rooms/villas available, some having up to 4 bedrooms. They will only hold the group rate until 60 days before the wedding. This rate is under Barry-McKinley wedding.

Best Western in Huntsville had a few rooms free, but will not allow us to make a block. Definitely contact them for the possibility of a local stay.

Motel 6 in Huntsville had a lot of single queen bed rooms left. No breakfast here and not super high class, but it’s close by and won’t break the budget if you’re a smaller group.

Sleep Inn Bracebridge wouldn’t allow us to make a block, but welcomed individuals to call and make their own reservations. A distance to drive, but more economical.

For those looking to stay more in the Magnetawan/Chapman Valley area where the Barry’s are from, Quiet Bay Inn is 5 minutes down the road. It’s about 45 minutes from Huntsville.
