It was August 28th, 2022.Sam was driving through East Tacoma when chaos broke out on the street. Curious to see what was going on, he pulled over and spotted a mobile coffee shop.&nbsp;“If anyone knows what’s happening, it’s got to be the barista,”&nbsp;he thought.He walked up to the stand, ordered a coffee, and started chatting with the barista — Masha. Somewhere between sips and small talk, he caught himself thinking,&nbsp;“Wow, she’s really pretty.”He lingered for a bit, reluctant to leave, before finally asking for her name, her number, and—half nervously—if she’d like to grab a drink sometime.Masha laughed softly and said, “Right now? I’m kind of busy.”So instead, they exchanged numbers and went their separate ways.Fast-forward to July 7th. They met at Parkway Tavern for their first official date. Conversation started out hopeful… until they realized just how little they had in common. Sam:&nbsp;Do you watch golf?Masha:&nbsp;No. Do you watch basketball?Sam:&nbsp;No. Baseball?Masha:&nbsp;Nope. Soccer?Sam:&nbsp;Not really. Football?Masha:&nbsp;Socially.The two smiled awkwardly. It was clear — this wasn’t exactly love at first&nbsp;interest.They parted ways that night, both convinced it wouldn’t work. Neither texted.Days later, while running errands with her sisters, Masha told them about the date.“Nothing in common,” she sighed. “Just small talk. But he was sweet — a total gentleman.”Her sisters asked, “Did you at least text him to thank him for the drinks?”Masha shook her head. “No…”Eventually, she did. One text turned into another, and slowly, something began to bloom. Sam’s kindness, patience, and charm won her over. And somewhere along the way, they discovered that love isn’t about liking the same things — it’s about learning to love&nbsp;through&nbsp;each other’s passions.Because sometimes, the best love stories start with&nbsp;nothing in common&nbsp;— and end with&nbsp;everything that matters.
