In the beginning, God created Adam and saw that it was not good for him to be alone. So, He created Eve—someone who was not just a companion, but a perfect partner to walk beside him. This story of divine purpose, of two people meant to come together, echoes in the journey of Samuel and Caroline.
Their story didn’t start with a first meeting at a party or a sudden spark. In fact, their paths crossed many years ago, but the timing wasn’t right. Much like Adam, Samuel was on his own journey, focusing on growing and becoming the person God had created him to be. Caroline, too, was walking her own path, figuring out who she was and what truly mattered to her. They were both finding themselves, becoming whole, just as God intended.
Years passed, and the world around them shifted. Yet, neither of them was ready for the kind of love that would come. Their hearts were still learning, still waiting for that moment when they would truly be ready to meet. Then, one day, as if by divine orchestration, their paths crossed once more—but this time, the pieces fell into place.
Samuel and Caroline both found themselves at a wedding—a place where two souls unite. But for them, this wasn’t just any wedding. This was the place where their eyes met again, and everything felt different. It wasn’t the same casual “hello” they might have exchanged years ago. This time, it felt like the moment when God said, “Now is the time.”
There was an instant recognition, a pull that neither could deny. They talked, and while the conversation was simple, the connection was profound. They hadn’t planned it, but they both knew something had shifted in that moment. And yet, they were still separated by distance—Samuel in Toronto, Caroline in Michigan. But despite the miles between them, they couldn’t shake the feeling that they were meant to explore this connection.
Like Adam, who had to wait for Eve to be revealed to him, Samuel felt that same sense of purpose in meeting Caroline. She was more than just a person to date; she was the one who would walk beside him in this life. He knew, without a doubt, that this was the woman he had been waiting for. And just as Adam was willing to wait for Eve’s arrival, Samuel was willing to cross that border, to drive the miles it took to get to Caroline and start something that felt destined.
Their time had not been ready until it was. But when the moment came, it was undeniable. Every conversation they shared, every visit they made to each other’s families, it all felt like the pieces of a puzzle that had been scattered for years, finally falling into place. Meeting each other’s families was like meeting long-lost relatives, people they had always known in spirit but were now meeting face to face.
The way Samuel and Caroline complemented each other, the way their personalities fit together—it was as if they were two parts of a greater whole, created to be together from the start. It wasn’t just their timing that was right. It was God's perfect timing, weaving their lives together in a way only He could have planned.
Now, as they prepare to unite as one in marriage, they look back and see the hand of God in every twist and turn. Just as Adam and Eve were brought together to fulfill a divine purpose, Samuel and Caroline know their love story is part of something much bigger than themselves. It is a love that was always meant to be, a union ordained by God from the very beginning.
