FAQ'S

What should I wear?

We'd love for you to please dress up on the wedding day, but don't break the bank! Cocktail/formal dresses and shirts and ties would be amazing, and kilts are of course encouraged. Please note that there is lots of grass and gravel at the venue, so maybe no stilettos.

What about food?

Don't worry, you won't go hungry! However, canapés will start from just after 14:30, so please make sure you've had a big breakfast! All we need to know is if you have any dietary requirements in your RSVP. We will send out meal choices closer to the time. If you're coming to the evening reception, there will be evening food served later in the night.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Fingers crossed, the wedding ceremony will be outside and the weather will be warm! Most of the evening reception will be inside, but there is some outdoor (covered) seating with fire pits.

I'm driving, where should I park?

For the actual wedding day there is free overnight parking at the venue, just follow the signs once you come up the long drive way (what three words: propelled.gold.case). If you're driving to the welcome party the day before, please follow signs for the Home Farmhouse, there is separate and free parking there too (What three words: hazel.talker.skin). All cars need to leave the venue by 10:30 the day after the wedding.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP by January 31st. Sadly if you don't let us know by then we will assume you're not able to come, we hope you understand!

Can I bring a plus one?

Sadly due to numbers only the names on each invite are able to come.

Can we bring our kids?

Although we love your kids, sadly due to numbers only the names that appear when you RSVP are able to come. Sorry!

We're staying at Wasing Park the night of the wedding, when can we check in?

Your room will be available by 2.00 pm, however some rooms will be available to check in to from midday. From 12 there will be complimentary tea, coffee and water at The Stables Bar on site, and the bar will be open until 13:30 too.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Absolutely! Just please try to be as subtle as you can and try your best to not get in any of the professional photographers shots. We promise we'll share all of the photos with you as soon as we have them.

Gifts

We know lots of you will be travelling and paying for hotels, so just you spending the day with us is more than enough!! However, if you would still like to give us a gift, a small contribution towards our honeymoon would be gratefully received.
