Kennedy and I met at work and became friends thanks to a mutual love of tea and the Lord of the Rings. Now I’m married to her brother and she’s stuck with me forever.

I’m Maris, and I’m from Georgia! I met Kennedy in the fall of 2022 at our shared home in DC, but it feels like we’ve been friends for much longer! We bonded over our faith along with our appreciation for culture, among many other things. Fun fact, she is the one who taught me chess! I am thankful to call Kennedy a friend that will last for life, and I can’t wait to see her in white!  

Neal is one of Sam's close friends and a former classmate. Neal met Sam through his mother, who had taught an English class Sam was enrolled in when he first came to JMU. Neal and Sam reconnected once Sam got back from his military service, and they became roommates during their upperclassmen years at JMU. Much debauchery followed, including a series of music demos they recorded (which Neal still has!), as well as free live performances to their neighbors from their balcony. Neal currently works in finance in New York.

I’m Jenna, I met Kennedy through work and proceeded to bond over shared nerdy interests and hobbies. Now she is stuck with me forever cause I can’t imagine life without her!

Hi all! I’m really excited to be able to meet all of the friends and family of Sam and Kennedy. I had the pleasure of meeting Sam during my first semester at JMU. We became really close while bonding through the blood, sweat, and tears we shed during a tough business class together. Since that first semester, and even past graduation, Sam, George, and myself have always stayed in touch. I am looking forward to being able to stand alongside and support Sam as he starts his life with Kennedy by his side.
