One August in 2016, Sandra and Justin found themselves both at Firehouse Pub in Saint Clair Shores, MI. Sandra was there to see her brother's band, Justin came up for a drink. Justin sat next to Sandra at the bar, and started up a conversation - and the rest as they say is history.

After over 7 years of dating, patiently waiting, and a lot of "what are you waiting fors", in March 2024, while on vacation in Dunedin FL, the relationship status changed.

While venturing the town of Dunedin at a brewery called Caledonia, there was a trivia night. Trivia was not their draw to the bar, but boy do they enjoy craft beers and collecting tags from the local breweries. On one of the remaining trivia slips on the table Justin took the tiny pencil and started to draw on the game sheet, which would lead those who know him to believe he was drawing some nonsensical illustration. However on the game sheet Justin wrote:

Team Name: Wilcox

Wager: Life

Will you marry me?

Sandra cried, asked if he was kidding about 17 times and after years of waiting finally got to say yes.

In June of 2024, a small ceremony was held at the local park with parents, grandparents, siblings, nieces and nephews. And so the knot was tied after several years of waiting and now we would like to celebrate with all of you.
