Greetings, Niles Hilsenberg here, a good good man. A great man. Perhaps, some may even say, the best man. I've both known Joe and suffered from severe and persistent grass and tree pollen allergies for over 30 years now. It's been exciting watching Joe and Sandra's flash-fire romance bring them both such happiness. As I reflect on the joy they bring each other, my eyes and nose water. Cynics may say that this is due to the unseasonably high grass and tree pollen levels in my area, but rest assured they would only be partially right! I sniffle and blot my eyes, welling with the vicarious happiness I feel for my dear friend Joe. Cynics are also quick to cast dispersions on whirlwind love. The illustrious stoic Lucius Annaeus Seneca wrote that "Love in its essence is spiritual fire," and what does fire do if not catch quickly and burn feverously. So I say, nay to the Cynics! They are wrong, like my childhood doctor who predicted that I would grow out of my severe and persistent grass and tree pollen allergies in early adulthood. No, like my severe and persistent grass and tree pollen allergies, this passion is undoubtedly for life. It is with tremendous enthusiasm and anticipation that I look forward to celebrating their union; here's to Joe, Sandra, and low grass and tree pollen levels this coming October.

Hello! I'm Kyler. I met Joe playing soccer in high school. We bonded over saving a small village from a swarm of army ants with nothing but a spatula and a wooden spoon. Hello, I am Cody, Joe’s cute, queer, filipino gay bestie. I can’t believe this little long distance friendship behind a screen during online medical school would develop into such a close friendship. We have seen each other at their best and worst and I am just lucky to have you along for the ride. I remember first meeting Joe in person and thinking how short was in real life, but also that this little Irish man is the sweetest little truffle I ever met who gives amazing hugs and for some reason every animal seems to really like him. Joe is such a kind soul which pairs perfectly with my chaotic shenanigans. I truly believe medical school wouldn’t have been as bearable without him and I honestly I can’t imagine my life without his friendship.

Joe, I am so lucky to have met you day 2 of term 2 and to have been your friend every day since. We have walked together through some of the toughest days we’ll ever know, and it’s brought me so much peace to see you find your happiness again. I cannot describe or even give a really obscure comparison to show just how grateful I am to have you as my cousin, and when I heard that you and Joe are getting married soon , NOTHING could’ve made me any happier for you. I did get to know Joe more than I had before you two came over for Christmas, and I could already tell that he was (and still is) perfect for you. Joe is one of the kindest people I know of, mainly because I’ve seen him help you out in your lowest, as you have with him and me. Another thing, I know bit unrelated, but Joe also has surprisingly good taste in way more things than I thought at first.
