Our Story

If it weren't for a swipe right, our paths may have never crossed. Luckily modern romance brought us together, and we haven't looked back since.Since then, our relationship has become an adventure - mostly because Sandra loves to travel and Bret has learned to love being dragged along for the ride. We've discovered a mutual love for exploring National Parks, but also staying home to watch cooking shows.During a weekend trip to the Berkshires, Bret surprised Sandra with a proposal, and our next adventure began. We are excited to celebrate our next chapter with all of you!

The Pizza Pilgrimage: You can't visit New Haven without trying our world-famous pizza. Head to Wooster Street for Frank Pepe’s or Sally’s, or try Modern Apizza on State Street. Be prepared for a line—it’s worth the wait! Louis’ Lunch: Visit the birthplace of the hamburger. Just remember: don't ask for ketchup (it’s not allowed!). BAR: A great spot for nightlife and their famous mashed potato pizza.

Explore the Campus

Yale University Architecture: Take a stroll through the Gothic courtyards. Don't miss the Beinecke Rare Book &amp; Manuscript Library, famous for its translucent marble walls and the Gutenberg Bible. Yale University Art Gallery: An incredible (and free!) museum featuring works from van Gogh to Picasso. Sterling Memorial Library: Walk through what looks like a cathedral but is actually a stunning library.

Get Outdoors

East Rock Park: For the best view of the city and the Long Island Sound, hike or drive to the summit of East Rock. It’s especially beautiful at sunset. Lighthouse Point Park: A scenic spot on the water featuring a historic lighthouse and a beautiful antique carousel. The New Haven Green: A historic 16-acre park in the center of downtown, perfect for a quick walk between shops and cafes.

IT Adventure Ropes Course: Located inside Jordan’s Furniture, it’s the largest indoor ropes course in the world—great for kids and adventurous adults. PEZ Visitor Center: Just a short drive away in Orange, CT, you can see the world’s largest collection of PEZ memorabilia. Shoreline Towns: If you have extra time, the nearby towns of Branford and Guilford offer quintessential New England town greens and beautiful coastal views.
