They had only met 7 days prior to this photo, but they were already undeniably falling in love. This was the day they decided to give long distance a shot.

Minneapolis, MN Ryan taking Sandra to Minnehaha Falls on her weekend visit from Seattle. Ryan had spent this visit showing Sandra the fun breweries and cozy nights that make the Minnesota winter a little easier. This was Sandra's 4th time in Minneapolis and she was already beginning to feel like this incredible city was home.

Minneapolis, MN Sandra and Ryan took a break from a long bike ride around the chain of lakes, one month after Sandra moved to Minneapolis. This was the last weekend of Sandra temporarily living with Ryan before she moved into her apartment in the Uptown neighborhood of Minneapolis. Ryan helped her put all her furniture together, set up her smart devices, and make a home of her apartment. He used these bike rides as a way to show Sandra all of his favorite parts of her neighborhood. A very special thank you to Susan, mother of the groom, for lending her bike to Sandra this summer.

Omaha, NE Ryan and Sandra visiting their wonderful officiant, Shannon, at her home in Omaha. The three of them made a giant snowball, a busty snowgal, and a cozy igloo. It was a very special trip in the height of covid and almost strange to be inside with another person for the first time in nearly a year.

Grand Marais, MN Summer north shore trip shortly after Sandra moved into Ryan's beautiful townhouse in NE Minneapolis. They spent this trip hiking, laughing, and talking about all the many wonderful ideas each of them had for their future.

Superior Hiking Trail, Tofte, MN Ryan proposed to Sandra on their favorite hike. In spite of this being exactly how Sandra had predicted the proposal Ryan's heartfelt speech still left her in tears for the remainder of the hike. Thank you to Jeff and Susan for the bottle of wine and charcuterie. Sandra was again in tears about the love she has for the amazing family she is being welcomed into.
