Road trip!
I'm guessing that for most of us, a good old fashioned road trip will be the travel option of choice. If not, you can look into flights coming into Fort Wayne, South Bend, or Indianapolis (if you're prepared for a 3 hour drive after your flight!).
Oakwood Resort
If you plan to stay near the venue at Oakwood Resort, please make your reservations early to ensure that you can get a room. Also note, Oakwood Resort requires for you to stay a minimum of two nights during Labor Day weekend.
Oakwood Resort offers amenities related to Lake Wawasee, such as a beach area, a pier, and bikes for guests to enjoy.
Fort Wayne International Airport
Fort Wayne airport is around an hour and thirteen minute drive from Oakwood Event Center, making this option convenient for those from out of state.
Brook Pointe Inn
Brook Pointe Inn is an affordable option, and also very close to Oakwood Event Center where the ceremony and reception will be held.
Comfort Inn & Suites
If you would like to stay nearby in Warsaw, Indiana Comfort Inn & Suites may be a good option. You will be around 35 minutes from the venue should you choose to stay in Warsaw.
South Bend International Airport
South Bend is only about an hour and ten minutes from Oakwood Event Center, which is very similar to the distance between Oakwood and Fort Wayne International Airport.
Best Western Plus Fort Wayne Inn & Suites North
Another option is to stay nearby in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Should you choose to stay in Fort Wayne, you will be around an hour from the venue.
Indianapolis International Airport
Indianapolis International Airport is three hours from Oakwood Event Center. However, this airport is larger than the other two. So if your are planning a trip from out of state I would suggest looking at flights early not only for the best ticket prices, but also so that you can fly into a closer airport!
