We moved into our second home on 6/19/16, just 10 days from our son Charlie's second birthday. My mind was racing for weeks; staging the townhouse we owned, hoping for a quick sale since we'd already put in an offer on the new house, packing and figuring out what I could part with and donate, prepping for a birthday party knowing family was coming from El Salvador and California - and hoping we got the new house before they got here so there would be space...... whew! I am tired thinking about it! On the 19th I was sweaty and tired from packing the remainder of our items so we could make the deadline to get out... I was done and told Jeff I was ready to head out. He said he just needed to get a few things sorted and I should head out alone. I was too tired to argue. Despite being tired, I drove to our new home excitedly, but cautiously... I had Charlie with me. When I got to our home...Jeff was parked outside. How was that possible? I walked in slowly and there was Jeff on one knee. He even had a bow tie hidden for Charlie to wear. Despite all the years together....and knowing eventually this was coming... I was nervous and elated and bewildered. Was this really happening? Were we really getting married? Yes! We are making this perfect little family official. We couldn't be happier! And we lived happily ever after.... :)
