Sara and Tanner have elected to have a more private, secluded ceremony with only a few family members. We encourage you to come celebrate with us at our reception later in the day!

The reception runs at Sweet Caroline's from 6pm-11pm. The bridal party plans to after-party up the road at Whiskey River Ames if you would like to attend!

Yes! Children are allowed at the venue, but please be advised that there will be alcohol, adult language in songs, and we will not censor our celebration for you. :)

The bride and groom have elected to have an appetizer heavy reception! This means throughout the whole night, the venue will be bringing out different kinds of appetizers so that you can grab and go have a great time at the party! There will be no sit down, plated dinner. Sweet Caroline is connected to a restaurant, so there will be more options of food.

The Cyclones have a bi-week the Saturday of our wedding! Luckily the hotels won't be dealing with game day stays, but still try and book early to ensure that you have a place to stay if needed.

A lot of the hotels in Ames wouldn't accept a hotel block! Fortunately, there isn't a football game that Saturday. If you need to book a hotel room, please book at any of the Ames hotels as soon as possible to ensure you have a place to stay.

Yes and no. The bride and groom have rented the loft of the ceremony space the Friday night before. They have it rented from 7pm-11pm, whoever would like to come have dinner with us is welcome! Sweet Caroline’s Loft 7pm
