Atascadero is in the Central Coastal region of California and can be accessed multiple ways:

1. San Luis Obispo County Airport: Closest airport to town. Largely smaller regional flights with some direct flights from other states.

2. SJC/SFO: The two major international airports of the South Bay/Peninsula. If coming in from out of state, both airports will have multiple flight options available. From the airport you can rent a car to drive to Atascadero or there is an Amtrak line that runs through both San Francisco and San Jose to San Luis Obispo.

3. LAX: The major international airport of the Los Angeles area. If coming from out of state, this airport will also have multiple flight options available. From the airport you can rent a car to drive to Atascadero or there is an Amtrak line that runs from LA to San Luis Obispo.

4. By Car: If traveling from the Bay Area, hop on 101 South and it will take you right into town. If traveling from Southern California, hop on 101 North and it will also take you right into town.
