Samuel David Stan was born to William and Barbara Stan on October 10th 1988 in Anchorage, Alaska. By the age of two his family had relocated to Bay Village Ohio were Sam would attend both grade school and high school graduating in 2007. Sara Lynn Baird was born to Dennis and Cher Baird December 30th 1991 in Westlake, Ohio. Despite a few moves she spent her youth in North Ridgeville, Ohio where she attended grade school and high school graduating in 2010. Sam Stan was red shirted in engineering requiring him to attend a 5th year at Cleveland State University which began in the Fall of 2011. In September of 2011 Sam met Sara at on campus housing as she was the randomly assigned roommate of a friend. A week or two later Sam and Sara both attended a welcome event on campus where Sam asked “can I take you to dinner sometime?" to which a very surprised Sara said “Really?! Sure!" On September 22nd 2011 Sam changed plans at the last second to a Cleveland Indians game where they would go on their first date.

In the Spring and Summer of 2012 Sam graduated college and received a job offer to a company that would require 6 months of training in Connecticut and a likely relocation afterwards. Despite their concerns Sam and Sara agreed to go long distance when he began this new job in September of 2012. Sam and Sara would endure the long distance life for over 9 months, six in training in Connecticut, and the proceeding three would be the first step toward their joint venture to Indianapolis.

We've lived together in the greater Indianapolis area ever since. In 2013 we added the wonderful Tali'Zorah to our family, took our first vacation to Deep Creek Lake in Maryland that same year. In 2015 we decided to enter the housing market, finally landing on a home we love closing in Spring of 2016 with our first international trip together that summer to Costa Rica. At long last, after I (Sara) had given up all hope I ( Sam) finally got down on one knee and propose to spend the rest of our live together. The rest is our history.
