This Evansville hole in the wall is famous for the fact that it use to be a stop for mobsters. -Must have Reservations (812) 422-0572-Cash only Log InnBest fried chicken and mashed potatoes in the Midwest. Log Inn gets crowded on the weekend but it is worth the wait and small drive. If you go with 3 or more people you can be served family style. The Log Inn is an old stagecoach stop and trading post that is famous for the fact that Abraham Lincoln stopped by in 1844.-Cash only Madeline'sIf you are looking for something a bit fancier, Madeline's is your place. Right in the heart of downtown, I think Madeline's has some of the best food in Evansville. &nbsp;The menu changes weekly and features the freshest seafood and prime meats combined with a fusion flair that makes your dining experience truly unique and pleasurable every time. This is also a great place to get a nice glass of wine with your dinner. Bru BurgerNeed a burger and want a place that is close to your hotel? Bru is an old Greyhound station that was converted into a burger joint. It is a great place to grab a beer and sit on the patio. PangeaAmerican/Italian/Asian fusion spot that never disappoints. Schymik'sSchymik's Kitchen is close to the hotels and has a nice dinner option and they also have a Sunday brunch option. ZukiWalking distance from the hotels, you can find a nice Hibachi experience. Due to the size of the restaurant they usually can seat larger groups. Texas RoadhouseIf you know you know...this is Sara's favorite chain! This place gets crazy busy so make sure you go on their website to call ahead and then you won't have any problem getting in. Breakfast Recommendations: ComfortRight in the heart of downtown where you can get a classic American breakfast. Parlor DonutsAlso, right downtown where you can find donuts that can double as a dessert. I have heard the coffee here is pretty good as well. Donut BankDonut Bank is Evansville's post-popular donut spot and personally my favorite. There are many locations around Evansville. You won't be disappointed!

We will have shuttles that will run picking up guests from the Hyatt and Bally's before the ceremony and returning guests home at the end of the reception. There will also be an option to drop guests off on Franklin Street after the reception. Franklin Street is home to most larger Evansville bars. Evansville is located in Southern Indiana right on the Ohio River. We have a regional airport (EVV) that has connecting flights to Dallas, Charlotte, and Atlanta serviced by Delta and America. We are also about a 2-hour drive away from Nashville, St. Louis, and Louisville which all have direct flights from the larger cities. Parking is no problem here in Evansville and we also have Uber (ETAs can be a little long sometimes) for those planning to not have a car.
