<p style="text-align: left;">Sara and Tim both grew up in the Portland Oregon/Vancouver Washington area in the younger set of large Christian families who enjoyed being active. When the Kolbergs and Bradshaws met in 2016, they began to do active things together. Sara and Tim were part of this fun loving group of siblings and friends who would hike, play sports, play games, and attend each other’s sporting events. Sara remembers Tim coming to watch her run in a cross country meet at Vancouver lake when she was a sophomore in high school in 2017. Tim drove her home afterwards in a blue convertible mustang. In the coming months, Tim and various other Kolbergs were at the Bradshaws house as often as five times a week. They frequently surprised the Bradshaws by showing up first thing in the morning for Sunday breakfast. Sara thought Tim just enjoyed the Bradshaws’ Sunday morning pancakes. Sara’s brothers assumed Tim was there to discuss the latest sports news with them. Tim taught Sara to surf and helped her with all her car issues, while she happily provided Tim with free haircuts. In 2021, Tim’s brother Mitchell married Sara’s sister Michelle. Although Tim moved to Boise in 2022, Sara and Tim continued to cross paths regularly, as their siblings continued to encourage their friendship and plan events that both were involved with. In 2024, after a wonderful fun filled Fourth of July weekend celebrating Sara’s brother (and Tim’s friend) Joshua’s wedding, Tim asked Sara out. The following months were a whirlwind of trips back and forth between Boise and Portland and (you guessed it) more hiking, sports, and surfing. Sara and Tim are so thankful for the way God has blessed and grown their friendship and are eagerly anticipating their marriage.<br /></p>
