2018, Sara and Ben met as servers at a local steakhouse. Starting as friends who would hang out in groups turned into friends who couldn’t go too many days without eachother. What started as a first date at Blue sushi, turned into regular date nights at a new restaurant every Friday evening.
Time went on, Ben graduated college, starting his big boy job and Sara decided to go to cosmetology school. Although their time together became less, they still managed to find ways to support one another. Ben spent late nights at Sara’s apartment helping her study for exams and boards, while sara supported Ben in reaching all his goals as he navigated the world of sales.
The following year, after 3 years of dating, Sara became a licensed cosmetologist, and found a dream Salon, but it was far from home. As scary as change can be, they decided to pack everything, give up their own space of living and move in together in a brand new city, Denver, CO. What turned out to be best decision for them to grow as a couple and individually as adults!
On the worst days they lean on eachother. Through a pandemic, loss, change, and navigating staying close with family over 500mi away. The past few years living together and 6 years of loving one another, they can’t wait to say I DO and start the first day of the rest of their lives learning about eachother as husband and wife, as well as best friends.
