Sara and Devin met during USM homecoming! Sara's sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, and Devin's fraternity, Phi Kappa Tau, were partnered together as a team for homecoming. They had friends in common, but had never properly met before. They were both working on pomping, a homecoming activity where a large picture is made of small pieces of tissue paper. There, between all the tiny balls of tissue, they had their first conversation and never wanted it to end. Throughout homecoming week, they continued to see each other, have long conversations, and work together on their team's competitions, pomp picture, and float. Sara invited Devin to see a band together after the football game with friends. At the end of the week, Devin asked Sara on a date, and the rest is history!
