We met in early 2017, but didn't actually go on our first date until a school dance later that year, when I was a sophomore and Shaun was a junior. Many called us "the most awkward couple at Homecoming" and they weren't wrong! Not pictured was my dad having to help me pin Shaun's boutonniere, something that spooked Shaun so much that I'm pretty sure it's why he wasn't touching me in this picture (so cute). Despite this nickname, we still had a great night and Shaun officially asked me out four days later. ♥︎

By prom the following year, I was slowly getting better with the whole boutonniere thing (much to Shaun's relief, I'm sure!)

Shaun always supported me in everything I did, whether it was cheering me on from the stands at a band competition, to helping me in my art classes.

Every school dance was spent with each other, and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way (I totally want to recreate this pic at our wedding)

There was no question about it. Shaun was my first love, and will be my last.

In 2020, the world shut down and I was so thankful to have someone to keep me sane through it all. Any challenges feel small when you have someone like I do at your side to help you through it.

As we've grown up together, we've been lucky enough to do so many fun things together. In 2021, Shaun got to come with us on our Disney family vacation and he learned why my family has always loved this place the most!

One of my favorite memories of many is when Shaun came with me and my mom to pick out the cutest little three month old kitten at the humane society, Beanie. This fluffy little guy immediately captured both of our hearts☺︎

Shaun and I went on our first solo trip to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee to celebrate his 21st birthday and our four year anniversary. We were at the top of a mountain in this picture!

About a year before this picture, I wondered, "How fun would it be to spend my 21st birthday at my favorite place ever?" Shaun found a way to make this happen, and even booked a birthday photoshoot for me on our first day.

Little did I know, this wasn't just a "birthday photoshoot"

And of course, you know the rest!

Shaun and I have made even more great memories since then, like moving into our first apartment together, adopting another kitten, and so much more. We can't wait for all of you to join us in making our favorite memory yet♥︎
