Our story begins in the early summer of 2020; strange times all around. I was new to Atlanta, still learning my way and starting to make friends. One of our mutual friends told me that I needed to meet Sara, and that we would get along great. From the very beginning, we immediately connected, and talked the whole night. We became best of friends right away, sharing our love of music, movies, outdoor adventures, and dancing. As Forrest, Forrest Gump may say, “me and Sara was like peas and carrots.” From 2020 to 2021 we were inseparable, always finding adventure in a world that was shut down.

Fast forward a year and we decided to give this friendship we had begun a new title. Depending on who you ask, it all started at Johnny’s Hideaway or at Travis, THE Elvis impersonator. Truth be told, it all came down to a botched New Years trip to New York City, due to that pesky plague. Both of us stricken from covid had to quarantine ourselves and bail on that paid for New Years trip. One quarantine later, and here we are!

You know that saying “when you know you know?” Little did she know, that when I met her I had experienced the “when you know, you know” moment for the very first time. I am so lucky to be able to say that I am marrying my best friend. We are so excited for you all to join us and celebrate our love for each other on June 7th!
